Magnatiles have been a studio favorite since day one. We have a different version of Magnatiles on our gift guide every year (hello animal sets from last year’s guide) - as it is always fun to add something new to your existing set. Plus, they’re great for kids of all ages. Unlike other brands of magnetic tiles, Magnatiles are very durable. We use them in the studio daily and have rarely had to replace any tiles in over 8 years - which is very impressive considering ours get knocked on the concrete floor and cleaned/sanitized daily.
This year, Magnatile introduced race cars and road tiles into the mix. These have been such a fun addition. Perfect for making race tracks, roads into castles, neighborhoods, zoo’s and whatever else your child can imagine.

WOWmazing Bubble Kit - Starter Kit ($16.99) and refill packets ($10.99)
This is a product my kids have been using for years, and we’re so excited to bring it to the Art Project! The bubble wand consists of two sticks (one for each hand) connected with a string. All you have to do is pour the bubble mixture into a bucket and add water. Simply dip the string into the bubble mixture and either twirl around in a circle or let the wind blow the bubbles. It works every time, and the bubbles are really amazing.
We love how easy it is to throw this in a bag to bring to the park or the lake. And, the bubble solution can also be diluted to refill those big giant bubble containers that always seem to be empty. We always like to have some on hand in our house!
Sticker Keeper Binder by Pipsticks ($29.99) and refill pages ($8.99)
My 6 year old daughter has recently started collecting stickers. We started to get tired of finding stickers all over the house - either stuck to furniture or stashed in baskets & bags. This binder has been the perfect solution. It has pockets to keep stickers of all shapes and sizes and pages to keep special stickers she doesn’t want to throw away. She uses the stickers in art, gives them away to friends and just likes flipping through her binder admiring them.

Magic Stix by Pencil Grip Company ($10.99 for a 24 pack) and Crayola Retractable Markers ($14.50 for 10)
Are your kids constantly losing the tops to their markers at home? Then these two products are for you! Magic Stix are markers that won’t dry out even if caps are left off for 7 days. Plus, they come in a carrying case which makes them perfect for travel. Don’t want to mess with marker caps at all? Then try out Crayola’s retractable markers. These don’t have caps at all which make them the perfect marker for travel (no more lost caps in the car seat or under an airplane seat). Plus, the colors are bright and they are washable.
Rainbow Watercolor Gel Crayons by Ooly ($19.99)
This one art material checks off lots of boxes making it a must have for your at home art supply box. They are a crayon meets oil pastel meets marker meets watercolor paint. Plus, they’re washable, don’t smudge like an oil pastel, won’t dry out and are sparkly. They color on very smooth, almost like drawing with lipstick. When you add water and a paintbrush, you can paint with them - perfect mess free way to paint at home.
Kwik Stix Paint Sticks ($12.99 for a 10 pack / $7.50 for a 6 pack)
If you ask any Art Project studio instructor (past or present) what their favorite art material at the studio is, they will likely say Kwik Stix. They are tempera paint in a stick that dry in just a few minutes. They are the perfect way to paint without having to wash brushes, deal with spills and messy wet artwork. They come in all sorts of bright colors. My kids get packs of these in their stockings every single year! They love them for painting on top of cardboard creations.
Art Project Sensory Dough Jars ($6.99/jar)
